All pricing is ex VAT per credit, the unit rate cost relates to the associated volume being purchased at the same time.
All costs are for UK Direct SMSs only and must be paid upfront by a valid credit card via your login. VAT is charged at 20%.
Each credit represents 1 x standard-length text message of up to 160 characters. Please note, the Oello platform supports the use of Unicode characters, if these are present, your account will be charged as follows: 0-70 = 1 credit, 71-134 = 2 credits, 135-201 = 3 credits, 202-268 = 4 credits. If you are unsure please double-check the length of the message and the number of the credits stated in the send message summary before giving the commitment to send.
Long messages are supported up to 918 characters and are charged as:
Up to 160 characters = 1 credit
Up to 306 characters = 2 credits
Up to 459 characters = 3 credits
Up to 612 characters = 4 credits
Up to 765 characters = 5 credits
Up to 918 characters = 6 credits
The minimum order value is 1000 credits.
50% extra credits are only available on your first purchase and can only be applied once for the life of the account. A maximum of 10,000 credits can be ordered. This offer is completely discretionary and can be withdrawn without notice at any time and for any reason.
Optional ‘Reply numbers’ can be rented at £10.00 ex VAT each per month on a minimum 3-month term.

Can I try before I buy?
Absolutely, after online registration is complete, we automatically preload your account with 25 free SMS credits for you to fully test-drive Oello immediately.
Once these credits have been used, you are able to purchase more via the ‘top-up’ page whilst logged in.
You will need a credit card to make payment and the minimum order value is 1000 credits. Once the payment has been processed successfully, the credits will be updated to your account balance within a few seconds.

What do I need to start?
To create a free online and secure account, we only need a few details to get you registered.
Namely, we need your name, company name, mobile number, business email address and an 11 character Sender ID (what people see when you send SMSs from Oello).
Once you have set a password and agreed to our Agreement, your account will be validated with a ‘text verification’ for security.
After you login in for the first time, we’ll ask you about your personal preferences and confirm a few business details.
Then, you’re ready for the world of business-related texts.

Why am I charged in credits?
With Oello, you have the capability of sending a message of up to 918 characters. For this reason, our charging model has to be based as a credit based system, as this is how we are charged by the mobile network operators.
Each credit represents 1 x standard length text message of up to 160 characters.
Long messages of up to 918 characters are charged as follows:
Up to 160 characters = 1 credit
Up to 306 characters = 2 credits
Up to 459 characters = 3 credits
Up to 612 characters = 4 credits
Up to 765 characters = 5 credits
Up to 918 characters = 6 creditsIn addition to long messaging, our system also allows messages to contain unicode characters (special symbols, like the euro sign), however these are charged a little differently, so please be careful, if unicode characters are not required, please ensure you use standard characters wherever possible.
0-70 characters = 1 credit
